Von Hebel will also retain his position as Head of the business unit Mobile Hydraulics. He will succeed
Dr. Markus Forschner who will join the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Performance Officer on January 1, 2022, and will begin preparing for his new responsibilities in Stuttgart on October 1.
Von Hebel has worked in a variety of areas at Bosch Rexroth since 2013
Von Hebel has been the Managing Director of the business unit Mobile Hydraulics based in Elchingen – the largest business unit at Bosch Rexroth – since the summer of 2017 and has overall responsibility including commercial activities. Beginning in 2013, he served as the Commercial Director of the former business unit Industrial Applications based in Lohr a. Main. This unit comprised today’s Bosch Rexroth divisions of factory automation, industrial hydraulics, large industrial drives and the project business.
Career start at Bosch in 1990
Von Hebel studied industrial engineering in Berlin and Karlsruhe. He joined the Bosch Group in 1990 as a trainee. After serving in a range of management positions in Germany and other countries, he became the commercial director of Switzerland-based Bosch subsidiary SIG Pack International AG in 2004. In 2005, von Hebel was given additional responsibility for finances, controlling and IT at the former Packaging Technology division of Bosch. Afterward, he became Chairman of the Divisional Board of Management of Bosch Solar Energy AG. He joined Bosch Rexroth in 2013.
“Holger von Hebel will deepen our Executive Board team’s base of knowledge with his solid commercial expertise and will contribute his vast range of experience from various key industries and technologies,” said Rolf Najork, a member of the Board of Management at Robert Bosch GmbH and the Chairman of the Executive Board of Bosch Rexroth AG.
Additional changes on the management team of Mobile Hydraulics
After joining the Executive Board of Bosch Rexroth AG, von Hebel will retain overall responsibility for Mobile Hydraulics. Effective October 1, 2021, Dr. Alexander Jabs will become the commercial director of the business unit Mobile Hydraulics. Jabs currently directs the service business of Mobile Hydraulics and the expansion of the service business for Bosch Rexroth overall.
An additional change will be made to the Mobile Hydraulics management team as well: Wolfgang Totsche, who oversees production and quality in Mobile Hydraulics, will retire at the end of the year. He will be succeeded by Matthias Aberle, who currently directs manufacturing and development in the region North and Central America.
