OverviewBosch Rexroth supplies linear axes and actuators with an automation package for a wide range of motion tasks
Along with its multi-axis systems, Bosch Rexroth now offers individual linear axes and actuators in combination with an automation package, optionally with operating software. The selected packages can be ordered from the Bosch Rexroth online shop and, thanks to components which are kept in stock, delivered at short notice. As a result, users can reduce their time to market. Rexroth Service assists with commissioning and ensures long life cycles thanks to accompanying services.
Straightforward engineering, quick commissioning, long life cycles – with the new automation packages for its linear axes and electromechanical cylinders, Bosch Rexroth meets these central requirements for the factory automation market. Users from a wide range of sectors get a perfectly tailored, long-lasting solution from a single source in order to achieve linear movements in an efficient manner. Typical automation tasks include handling, pressing and dispensing.
The automation packages complement the long-lasting mechanical systems, adding a servo motor, drive controller, mains filter and cabling. The cables are available in three lengths. When it comes to the drive controllers, users can choose between IndraDrive or ctrlX DRIVE. The drive parameters are stored in the motor encoder data memory prior to delivery and are read automatically for quicker commissioning. The mains filter supports signal processing to the periphery and ensures interference frequency-free operation of the individual axis.
If desired, the automation packages can include the proven operating software for the Smart Function Kits Handling, Pressing or Dispensing. The pre-installed software includes a commissioning wizard with automatic parameterization of the drive controller and a module for convenient visual programming of movements with the help of function blocks.
Digital engineering with modern e-tools
The automation package is added directly to the linear axes and actuators in the LinSelect configuration software, and the commissioning software in the seamlessly connected online configurator. The documentation and the CAD data are also made available for downloading here. The chosen subsystem can then be ordered from the online shop. Each bundle is given a specific material variant which allows it to be clearly identified.
Because Bosch Rexroth keeps all components in stock, the subsystems can be delivered at short notice. This helps customers to reduce their time to market.
Sustainable solutions with long-term service
Bosch Rexroth supports companies lacking specialist staff with complementary services. If necessary, Rexroth Service can provide personal support for users during commissioning. In order to protect companies’ investments, Bosch Rexroth ensures the availability of spare parts. The linear motion technology solutions also require little maintenance and have long lubrication intervals.
