OverviewTransfer parameters for Bosch Rexroth linear axes, multi-axis systems and electromechanical cylinders from the motor encoder data memory to the motor controller at the click of a mouse
Up until now, anyone wishing to commission linear modules from Bosch Rexroth had to read various axis parameters such as maximum stroke or feed constant from the nameplate and enter them manually. This process wasted valuable time and was also prone to errors. To make commissioning easier for users and transfer the correct parameters to the motor controller automatically, Bosch Rexroth has improved and simplified the process.
With smart axis systems which comprise a linear axis or actuator and servo motor from Bosch Rexroth, all relevant parameters are already stored in the motor encoder data memory. For commissioning, users can transfer all parameters to the ctrlX DRIVE engineering software with just a few clicks, which means that their linear systems are ready for immediate use. A preconfigured system is provided, one in which all components are matched to each other, thus saving valuable time during commissioning.
Bosch Rexroth also offers practical tools and configurators to assist users in selecting, designing and ordering linear motion technology components and systems. With the selection and design tool LinSelect, linear axes and systems, Smart Function Kits and electromechanical cylinders can be designed for a specific application and ordered with just a few clicks.
