OverviewSL LED Basic system lamp with high illuminance and low energy consumption increases ergonomics at the workplace
Assembly lines often have to be adapted to new products. An ever-increasing product variance requires flexibility at the workstation. At the same time, the focus is on increasing the performance and health protection of employees. With the introduction of the SL LED Basic system lamp, Bosch Rexroth meets current and future market requirements. Thanks to the innovative DIM box, which can supply power to several lamps, the lamps are extremely compact. The new product variants not only enable flexible assembly for individual ergonomic workstations, but also offer an energy-efficient and economical solution.
Thanks to the economical modular design principle, users can cost-effectively implement both so-called tri-light set-ups and complete line illumination, as several lamps can be operated with just one DIM box. In addition to supplying several devices, the DIM box also combines the “dim-to-of” function with the power supply – eliminating the need for cabling and power strips. The system lamps are quickly installed thanks to innovative mounting bases that offer secure and fast mounting: One cable is sufficient for complete installation.
Two product versions – countless solutions
Be it at packing stations, in precision assembly or at test workstations: Optimum illumination is a central prerequisite for precise, low-fatigue work. Bosch Rexroth replaces twelve different predecessor variants within the system lamp range with just two product versions. The new system lamps are compact, space-saving and versatile: Thanks to combined CE and UL/CSA certification and standard dimmability, they can be used for countless applications. Individual employee needs and work on diverse product variants are optimally supported by the dimming function.
The revised compact design visually enhances workstations. Thanks to the integrated dimmability, work surfaces can be used for various activities – packing and testing work can be done in one place.
Sustainability at the workplace: twice the service life with half the energy consumption
The lights are supplied in recyclable cardboard packaging and, unlike fluorescent tubes, are free of harmful gases or toxic substances. The system lights from Bosch Rexroth have twice the service life with 50 percent lower energy consumption compared to conventional light sources. This means both significant monetary savings and CO2 reduction: A company saves 1,472 euros and 3.7 tons of CO2 per year per assembly line with 50 workstations (1).
Well-being and performance thanks to optimal lighting conditions
The lamps comply with the DIN EN 12464 standard for lighting indoor workplaces. Employees can adjust the illuminance of the LED lamps to the respective activity. Up to 1,500 lux is possible with tri-light setups. A built-in diffuser foil as well as a microprism disk ensure that the work surface is homogeneously illuminated. Employees are not dazzled and can carry out their work without reflections, strong contrasts or shadows. The optimized lighting increases the processing quality and reduces the risk of errors.
