Volker Schiek to become Chief Financial Officer and Director of Industrial Relations of Bosch Rexroth

  • Schiek will take over responsibility for commercial activities, purchasing, logistics, and human resources on July 1, 2026
  • Schiek’s predecessor, Holger von Hebel, will take on a role at Bosch headquarters from July 2026

Lohr a. Main – Volker Schiek (54) will assume responsibility for commercial activities, purchasing, logistics, and human resources on the Board of Management of Bosch Rexroth AG on July 1. He succeeds Holger von Hebel (60) who will take on a role at Bosch headquarters in July and will report to the Bosch board of management.

Schiek has been Chief Financial Officer of Bosch's Electrified Motion division since the beginning of 2024. Previously, he played a key role in shaping the digital strategy of Bosch as part of the S4 transformation. His career is characterized by diverse international leadership positions, including roles in information technology, strategy, and process excellence. At Bosch Rexroth, Schiek had already held commercial and technical management positions between 2016 and 2021, culminating in his leadership of the Mobile Components business unit. Schiek studied engineering and business administration at universities in Karlsruhe (Germany), Warwick (UK), and Louisville (USA), and holds a degree in industrial engineering, a Master of Science, and a Master of Business Administration. Schiek joined the Bosch Group in 1993.
