Experience the Future: Bosch Rexroth & Hägglunds’ Award-Winning Offshore Innovations Take Center Stage at OTC 2026

Visit Bosch Rexroth and Hägglunds at the 2026 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, TX May 4-7, 2026.

Visit Bosch Rexroth and Hägglunds at the 2026 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, TX May 4-7, 2026, and discover groundbreaking technologies shaping the future. Attendees will experience:

  • Two Spotlight on New Technology® Award winners
  • Compelling booth demonstrations
  • Insightful technical presentation
  • Comprehensive portfolio of diverse products and brands from Bosch Rexroth

As a long-standing participant and trusted partner in the offshore and energy industry, Bosch Rexroth will showcase its latest innovations at Booth #3437 where attendees will experience an extensive range of products and solutions specifically engineered to advance the offshore technology sector. From powerful Hägglunds direct drives and Rineer vane motors to Bosch Rexroth's eSEA Subsea Electric Actuator Portfolio, Bosch Rexroth’s competencies span from topside to seabed.

Aligning with this year's OTC theme, "Steering Offshore Energy Innovation into the Future," Bosch Rexroth invites attendees to explore the comprehensive portfolio of offshore and subsea solutions. At the booth, attendees have the unique opportunity to meet global experts, experience product demonstrations of cutting-edge motors and drive systems and innovative subsea technologies for enhanced efficiency and safety.

Two 2026 Spotlight on New Technology® Award winners are represented in booth #3437: the Hägglunds Thunder and the Bosch Rexroth eSEA Push series.

  • The Hägglunds Thunder motor creates a new, fully electric path to the advantages of a Hägglunds direct drive. Like other Hägglunds solutions, it supplies high torque at low speed, delivering megawatt levels of power right to the shaft with high precision and no gears. As a permanent magnet (PM) synchronous torque motor, it offers its own range of dynamic characteristics. In the right application, these can provide highly efficient solutions to very specific challenges by offering different force and stroke options. Its fully variable speed, achieved through frequency control, combines with built-in overload protection for precise, reliable operation of offshore equipment like winches and cranes.
  • The eSEA Push electric actuator solves subsea production and processing challenges like aging subsea infrastructures with wearing components and increasing OPEX, drastically impacting infrastructure performance. The DNV-certified eSEA Push offers an innovative and easy-to-install permanent override, seamlessly tying into the existing subsea control system. Forces of up to 745kN and safety capabilities up to SIL3 allow the regaining of control of even the most demanding subsea valves, minimizing downtime and improving monitoring in brownfields.

Other key products featured at Bosch Rexroth’s booth include:

  • With their “vane-crossing-vane” design, Rineer vane motors have an optimum power-to-weight ratio and exceptionally smooth output. Able to deliver maximum torque under start and stall conditions, they also supply virtually flat torque throughout the speed range. This robust performance gives them an edge in tough offshore applications, ranging from bow thrusters and winches to pump drives and power tongs.
  • The eSEA Spin is a cutting-edge electromechanical actuator developed in collaboration with WITTENSTEIN. Designed specifically for multiturn subsea applications, the compact eSEA Spin delivers robust torque of up to 2,700 Nm with a remarkably low power consumption. With easy integration, coupled with advanced control electronics and sensors, the eSEA Spin ensures precise valve control in even the most demanding subsea environments.

In addition, subsea technology expert Joao Pedro Duarte da Silva will lead a presentation entitled, "Enhancing Reliability of Subsea Production Systems Through Valve Signature Analysis," on Tuesday, May 5, from 11:10-11:28 AM in Room 610. Learn how enhanced algorithms implemented within smart actuator technology can monitor a valve's signature and condition over time without the need for external valve sensors. This presentation is part of the Technical Session "Advances in Subsea Equipment - Design, Operations." Find more information here.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by Bosch Rexroth at OTC booth #3437 to learn more from the team of experts. For additional information, visit www.boschrexroth.com.
