Inspiring Singapore’s next generation on Advanced Manufacturing!

From 24th to 26th March, Bosch Rexroth Regional Training (BRRTC) participated in the SkillsFuture roadshow at Jurong Point, Singapore.

The event aimed to provide the public with valuable insights on in-demand skills and the range of SkillsFuture funding and training subsidies available to support their career transition and growth. SkillsFuture is a national initiative launched by the Singapore government to help individuals develop their skills and stay relevant in a rapidly changing economy.

At the roadshow, BRRTC showcased our latest innovation - the Kassow Robot Mobile System, powered by our very own ctrlX. This integrated mobile robot system made its debut at the event and generated a lot of interest among attendees who were keen to learn how it could benefit both individuals and their companies.

It is a smart, modular, and portable system that functions as a production assistant and is flexible enough to easily configure to any existing shopfloor. Moreover, the entire system is powered by ctrlX CORE plus platform that enables IoT connectivity with other devices like sensors, machines, and systems.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to our partners – esmo Singapore and TRITAN AMS - for their unwavering support and participation in the roadshow. The showcase would not have been made possible without their support and expertise.

The collaboration between BRRTC and SkillsFuture provided a platform to bridge the skills gap in the industry and support individuals in their career development journey. The roadshow also provided a great opportunity for attendees to gain knowledge about the latest skills and technologies in demand, as well as explore potential career paths and training opportunities.

The Bosch Rexroth Regional Training Centre (BRRTC) offers a wide range of training courses to support individuals and companies in their pursuit of advanced manufacturing. The courses are led by experienced instructors and are aimed at professionals, as well as students seeking to upskill or transition to a career in advanced manufacturing. The BRRTC training programs play a crucial role in supporting the industry's growth and competitiveness by equipping individuals with the skills needed to operate and maintain advanced manufacturing systems and equipment.

Overall, the roadshow was a success, and BRRTC will continue to promote lifelong learning and empower individuals to stay relevant in a fast-changing job market. The collaboration between BRRTC and SkillsFuture highlights the importance of training and upskilling to support individuals' career development and the growth of industries in Singapore.
