Meet our Intern: Iskandar
As Iskandar Zulqarnain walked away from his last shift here at Bosch Rexroth Malaysia, we managed to catch up with him one last time and talked about his time here at our Shah Alam office.
As a Manufacturing Systems’ student, Iskandar was tasked to assemble and troubleshoot customers’ equipment in the Service department. While interning, he showered high praises to his team as they guided him through the servicing and imparted technical knowledge daily. The team took his internship seriously and would even give him the occasional pop quiz to make sure Iskandar catches on. This gave him a better understanding about the work he’s doing.
After spending 6 months here at Bosch Rexroth Malaysia, we asked him what his internship highlight was. Being the customer obsessed intern that he is, Iskandar’s favorite moment came when he was troubleshooting a hydraulic piston pump over at a customer’s site. The trip was worth the travel after seeing the machine whirred back to life. The smile on the customer’s face was unforgettable and the experience was priceless.
“Experience the experience,” he said. Even with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Iskandar had a great time interning at Bosch Rexroth Malaysia, learning valuable skills, and gaining behind-the-scenes experience of manufacturing.
24 weeks came and went as Iskandar stepped out to continue his final semesters of his university education. Although a short time with Bosch Rexroth, Iskandar Zulqarnain truly embodied the vision of “We Move, To Win”.
