Bosch Rexroth Thailand successfully hosted its Factory Automation Customer Day at its Rayong office. This pivotal event aimed to equip manufacturers with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive in today's dynamic landscape.

The half-day afternoon session, held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, attracted 25 attendees from a diverse range of industries. The event focused on the evolving landscape of Thailand's manufacturing sector, emphasizing the growing need for agility, efficiency, and innovative solutions.

Bosch Rexroth: Shaping the Future with Cutting-Edge Solutions

During the event, Bosch Rexroth Thailand showcased its portfolio of advanced factory automation solutions, demonstrating how they can empower customers to overcome these challenges and shape the future of their operations. Attendees gained valuable insights into:

1. Automation Trends: Our expert presented informative sessions on the latest trends in automation technology, including the rise of Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and artificial intelligence (AI).

2. Factory Automation Solutions: The event featured live demonstrations solutions, including:

  • ActiveShuttle: The AMR ACTIVE Shuttle transports floor rollers loaded with small load carriers (KLT). Intralogistics processes become highly flexible, while remaining safe and stable. AMR with integrated lifting & transport platform with payload of up to 260 kilograms and speed of up to 1 m/s.
  • TS2 Plus (Transfer Systems): The Rexroth transfer system is designed for transport of workpiece pallets up to 240 kg. It features standardized modular units that can be combined in many ways to create a single system. The modular design permits the cost-effective use of ratio potentials in production. All components are designed to be particularly robust and ensure high operational safety.
  • Kassow Robot (Cobot): 7-axes cobot that is faster, stronger, with longer reach of up to 1800 mm and payload up to 18 kg. The cobots offer both speed and power, while also providing a long reach and high payload. The user-friendliness of these cobots gives companies great flexibility and enables SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) without in-house robotics specialists to achieve complex automation and programming cost-effectively and independently.
  • Operation Guidance System (OGS): OGS is a Windows®-based software package, that is especially optimized foruse with the Rexroth tightening systems. With a clear visual representation ofthe work at hand, the software guides the operator and controls connected tools.
  • ctrlX Automation: A complete automation platform with all necessary hardware and software as PLC, IoT, Motion, Drives, HMI, and more. An innovation that changes an entire market and completely redefines automation in the industry.
  • Smart Mechatronics (Linear Technology): Smart MechatroniX stands for “Plug & Produce, Perform, Proceed”.The Smart Function Kits from Bosch Rexroth consist of best-in-class linear motion technology components, automation hardware and software. These new mechatronic solutions can be used for a variety of automation tasks and impress with their easy product selection, quick commissioning and programming.

3. Tour of Bosch Rexroth: Attendees also enjoyed a tour of the Bosch Rexroth facility, including the "Service the Original" workshop. This experience highlighted Bosch Rexroth's unwavering commitment to providing exceptional customer support, ensuring you get the most out of your automation investment.
