In 2012, Industry 4.0, the fourth industrial revolution formulated by the German federal government as a national strategy, became a point of ignition amounting to a huge leap in the industry's networking. In 2018, Bosch Rexroth Hajtás- és Vezérléstchnika Kft. and DSS Consulting Kft. concluded a consortium cooperation agreement with the aim of establishing a pilot project in Hungary, too, focusing on the vision of the Future Factory.
