1: Our intelligent online configurator generates complete 3D CAD files

We'll start right away with a gem: our online configurator. The configurators are not unknown in themselves, but their performance is… the 3D CAD files are very detailed. But how detailed is very detailed? Can we see bearing fits in the 3D CAD file? Yes! The thread of the locking nut? Sure. The drivetrain then? Yep. The keyway with all its details? Yes, of course.

And if you want to adjust the dimensions of something, then that is also possible. And don't worry, the configurator is a seriously smart and provides feedback on the technical feasibility of your configuration.

2: Also available in stainless steel

Did you know that our ball screws come in different variances? For example, our range includes stainless steel spindles, a requirement for the semiconductor and food industry. But the spindles are also available in hard chrome and of course in carbon steel.

3: Extremely high system speed d₀ n

Neatly hidden on page 133 is the system speed (d₀ · n) of our ball screws. At 150,000 this value is more than high enough for you to make your machine move even faster without any problems.

4: Mega long lubrication intervals

The all-important “greasing intervals” should not be missing from this list. This is also one of the areas where Bosch Rexroth has made great strides recently. With the additional lubrication unit, the VSE, longer lubrication intervals can be achieved. The length has now been quadrupled, amounting to 200 million revolutions!

5: “FAR”, the driven nut for extra speed

Long spindles come with many speed restrictions which you can eradicate by driving the nut and thus are independent of the length of the spindle in terms of speed. In short, if you need long spindles and high speed, take a look at our FARs.

You can easily configure Bosch Rexroth rail systems with our online configurator. If you are already a customer, you will immediately receive pricing information and delivery times for your configuration. It’s that easy!
