Bosch Rexroth Exhibits Robust Assembly Automation Portfolio at The ASSEMBLY Show 2023

From start to finish, Bosch Rexroth will demonstrate a streamlined assembly automation in booth #119 at The ASSEMBLY Show in Rosemont, Illinois.
It’s time to streamline how automation works. At The ASSEMBLY Show 2023, Bosch Rexroth will join with leading suppliers and users of factory automation, robotics and assembly technology to showcase the company’s industry-leading, complete and harmonized portfolio of assembly automation solutions in booth #119 on October 24-26 in Rosemont, Illinois.

The booth will include interactive exhibits and working systems demos. Featured will be a Flexible Transport System (FTS) hybrid that delivers high accuracy with unprecedented speed, integrated with a Kassow collaborative robot. Other demos include:

Smart Flex Effector: The Smart Flex Effector is a sensor-based compensation module with independent kinematics in six degrees of freedom - the first of its kind. The Smart Flex Effector provides a tactile sense of touch to the robot application, essentially emulating the abilities of a human hand. A digital twin of your robotic operation can also be created from the multitudes of real-time data available from the device, providing complete process transparency.
Used in complex handling applications, joining operations with micron-level tolerances, robotic teaching, performing in-process measuring, and providing movement flexibility that was until now unobtainable, the Smart Flex Effector solves a wide array of challenges that have troubled integrators for years.

This tightening system seamlessly integrates into conveying systems, aluminum framing workstations, and more and incorporates the complete control directly inside the device, while keeping its sleek, cordless design.
Smart Function Kit for Handling: Bosch Rexroth’s Smart Function Kit for Handling is an innovative preassembled multi-axis robot made up of tailored, standardized modules and components, which can be put together quickly to form smart subsystems. Simply select and adapt the basic type online, configure and order it, and commission it with software guidance.
Rexroth’s best-in-class components can be used to create smart mechatronics solutions for the Factory of the Future, with minimal use of resources.
ctrlX AUTOMATION: On display is a functional 3-axis ctrlX AUTOMATION demo, which shows a typical system configuration utilizing ctrlX DRIVE, ctrlX CORE, and ctrlX SAFETY, running in real-time. The demo will showcase some of the unique software features of the ctrlX AUTOMATION platform. The demo will also demonstrate how ctrlX AUTOMATION can be used to integrate multiple pieces of factory equipment from various manufacturers and centrally consolidate data for use by factory management.
