Bosch Rexroth provides MTpro software trainings in regular intervals both in German and English language.
There are two different trainings:
- The Basic training covers the basic functions of the software
- In the Layout Designer Training, the features of the Layout Designer are shown in practise.

Basic Training
Participants:
- Sales engineers, Project engineers, Design engineers
Target:
- Different MTpro building blocks and functions in general
- How to use the available functionality to prepare proposals and customer documentation
Content
- Product search and selection
- General product information, data sheets and assembly instructions
- Product configuration
- Generation and export of CAD models
- Creation of order lists, eShop interface
- Overview of Layout Designer tool
No. of participants (min. - max.): 6 to 12
Layout Designer Training
Participants:
Sales engineers, Project engineers, Design engineers
Qualification:
Knowlegde of basic MTpro functionality
Target:
- Participant will learn how to set up and design a layout in the Layout Designer tool
- General Layout Designer functions and special support functions for individual product lines
- Ways of processing the layout data in proposals and CAD
Content:
- Layout Designer modules and user interface
- Configuration of parts and assemblies
- Support functions like dimensioning, copying, and positioning
- Produvct line specific support functions and macros
- Calculation of BOM
- Export of layouts and CAD models
- Import of internal and external CAD models
- Practical exercises
